Panel #1 – Keegan Cerwinsky from Gerber Technology
Bio: Keegan Cerwinski graduated from the College of Textiles in 2017. After graduating he went on to be a Manufacturing Manager for the Tom James Company. After two and a half years with the Tom James company he joined Gerber Technology a Lectra Company where he now runs their Innovation Center and works with companies to Near shore and reshore manufacturing.
Panel #2 – Caroline Cockeram from CICIL
Bio: Caroline graduated with her Bachelors and Masters degrees from the Wilson College of Textiles. She has worked as a material developer for large brands and startups, including VF Corp, Patagonia, Casper Sleep, Stateless NYC, Diamond Brand Gear, Appalatch, and more. She recently co-founded, CICIL, a natural fiber focused home goods brand, made from seed to final product in the USA.
Panel #3 – Colin Holloway from Hanesbrands
Bio: Colin Holloway is a creative, technical leader who has spent the last 15 years in the apparel and footwear industry working across a number of global brands including Cotton Incorporated, Under Armour, Oakley, Abercrombie and Fitch, Fruit of the Loom, VF Corp and Hanesbrands. In his current role as Sr. Manager, Global Innovation for Hanesbrands Colin Holloway leads the Hanesbrands Global Innovation pipeline to deliver on enterprise wide initiatives from ideation through to commercialization. He is the critical liaison between business stakeholders and project execution teams that drive a wide-ranging portfolio of projects impacting new manufacturing processes, business improvements and branded products.
Panel #4 – Amanda Mills from Wilson College of Textiles
Bio: Amanda is an Assistant Research Professor in the Textile Engineering, Chemistry, and Science Department at NC State University. Her focus is on developing innovative methods for electronics integration into textiles. She creates full system demonstration platforms to examine the impact of the textile on the device and vice versa.
